Employees can see what specific benefits are available, view the employee contribution for these benefits, (and perhaps more important, view the employer's premium contribution if you wish that to be shown), view benefit plan summaries, find doctors and providers within their network, directly access prescription formulary lists, view your employee handbook and other company documents, access their flexible spending account, and access details on their 401k or 403b, all from one website. All of this enhances understanding and appreciation of the benefit package you provide.
Your HR department will have a separate login to initiate new hires and terminations, and manage your benefits package.
